Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness. ~ Desmond Tutu
The word HOPE can inspire anyone to do their best. It’s a word that drives our goals, emotions, and passions. During times of struggle, HOPE helps us take each step by step until we make it out of the darkness. Taking the time to reflect on what HOPE means, causes an internal realization on what deepest desires exist within you.
“It’s amazing how a little tomorrow can make up for a whole lot of yesterday.” ~John Guare
Writers, poets, and artists are phenomenal with expressing what HOPE means to them. As an aspiring writer, I want to spread HOPE to as many people as I can reach. Taking the time to look at artwork can help your reflection also. HOPE can be seen in many forms of art.
“Hold fast to dreams,
For if dreams die
Life is a broken-winged bird,
That cannot fly.”
Waking up after just having the best dream, leaves a desired longing. That feeling spawns a daydream that causes the day to skate by. Next thing you know, it’s time to go back to sleep and dream again. HOPE has a similar affection.
“Hope is the thing with feathers
That perches in the soul
And sings the tune without the words
And never stops at all.” ~Emily Dickinson
