Who Am I and Why Am I Here

There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow men. True nobility lies in being superior to your former self.

~Ernest Hemingway

I am a newbie to blogging and public writing. It is scary and exciting to start this new journey. I joined Blogging 101 to help me kick start my mind and blog.

Day One: Introduce Yourself to the World

Our task for the first day is to introduce ourselves to the world.

“Hi, World!”

By answering a few questions, I hope to interest some of you to return from time to time.

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?

I have always had troubles when I tried to keep a journal. My mind is filled with a bunch of random thoughts, ideas, questions, and dreams. I found it hard to write it down in an organized thought. I figured that if I tried blogging publicly, it kind of forces my hand to make sense of the ramblings in my noggin.

  • What topics do you think you’ll write about?

Everything about me is eclectic; my personality, my ethnicity, my interests, my hobbies, and so on and so forth. One weekend, I might be really into close up magic and blog about David Blaine (which I already did!). Then I will find myself enthralled with fighting and watch Ronda Rousey videos everyday. Quotes scroll through my thought bubbles everyday so I end up sharing them to inspire others. I love laughing and find myself watching hilarious viral videos that I end up sharing also. SO basically, whatever deep thought is running havoc in my dome is what the topic will be that moment in time.

  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?

I would love to connect with anyone who has a genuine interest in helping better my blog! I’m always interested in new friendships and networks. Let’s follow each other on social media!

  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

Throughout the next year, I hope to have learned a lot that will help me eventually turn blogging into a source of revenue. I’m using this year to help polish my writing skills also.

So cheers!! Here’s to a great start!
